Day 01: Night trip from Bali for Ijen blue fire tours - Banyuwangi, East Java

Around at 20:00 PM, our Bali team/ driver will pick you up from your hotel in Bali (Kuta, Seminyak, Sanur, Ubud, Seminyak, Kerobokan, Canggu or Lovina area) then take you for about 3 – 4 hours driving by private car with AC to reach the Gilimanuk Ferry Port which is located in the most western tip of Bali Island.

Upon arrival time in Gilimanuk ferry port, we will proceed to take a ferry for crossing Bali strait for and it will take about 1 – 1.5 hours to reach the Ketapang ferry port in Banyuwangi which is located in the most eastern tip of Java Island.

We hope to arrive in Ketapang ferry port around at 01:00 am (midnight in Bali time) or at 24:00PM (midnight in Java time), and we will continue our trip for about 1 – 1.5 hours driving to reach parking area in Ijen Crater which is well known as post 1 Paltuding or as starting point for Ijen craterhike tour activity
Day 02: Ijen crater hike tour to see a blue fire tours Ijen,- and finish in Banyuwangi

Around at 02 am,- from this place, we will re-check the hike equipment, such as: torch or flashlight and gas mask.

Do not forget to keep well your stamina, and we will pray before for starting to do an climbing Mount Ijen Crater. The climbing to Ijen Crater will need for about 1.5 – 2.5 hours (it is depend on your stamina) to reach peak of Mount Ijen.

If the weather is good enough, you may see the Milky Way on the top of Mount Ijen but you are required to use your Smartphone apps. The blue fire in Ijen Crater is ignited by natural of sulphuric gas, which emerges from cracks at temperatures up to 600 degrees Celsius (1,112 degrees Fahrenheit) and the flames can be up to 5 meters (16 feet) high; some of the gas condenses to liquid and is still ignited. It is the largest blue flame area in the world and local people refer to it as Blue Fire.

Resting on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2883 meters and enjoy best panorama of the lake of sulfate where reflects spectacular view in the surrounding walls to give the impression like unforgettable thing.

The sulfur mining workers go down into the crater and climb back up by passing dangerous path on the edge of Ijen Crater with the load as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders.
